Dinner Mint

Dinner Mint is a white-based paint with a hint of minty green that may add a little shimmer, depending on the mix. It becomes opaque quickly and mixes well with the other paints in SmartyPaints set to create pastel colors.

Sea shells vary in size and shape and may be stained as the shells may have been previously used as paint receptacles. The amount of paint varies as it is the remainder of paints that aren’t enough to fill or top off regular pans. There is a magnet option available and, if chosen, I will hot glue a round magnet to the shell.

This high-quality artisan paint recipe was tested with hand-selected pigments for an excellent color result. The gum Arabic binder is hand-prepared with a mixture of clove and ylang-ylang oils—to provide excellent preservation, insect-repellant and a great fragrance! A unique combination of local honey and glycerin was added during the mulling process to ensure the final product is extra smooth.

Depending on the recipe, some pans are refilled and others are only filled once. Each pan is examined and processed with any necessary clean-up and then labeled to present you with the finished product. Each batch takes at least one week to process from start to finish. Some cracking is normal. Please remember that these pans are hand-poured and there are slight variations from batch to batch and pan to pan.
